BIO
Jennifer Tocquigny is a film, TV, and podcast producer and writer whose projects have screened at 150+ festivals worldwide including world premieres at TIFF, SXSW, IDFA and AFI. She and her team at MEL Films took home the IDA Award for Best Short Series after producing 52 short films in just under three years. Jennifer has circumnavigated the globe to over 88 countries working on documentary, digital and branded content for HBO, Warner Brothers, Netflix, Amazon, Freeform, Hallmark, and Sony Pictures, and recently Executive Produced Discovery Channel’s first climate change series, Expedition To The Edge.
Recently, she wrote and produced the iHeart Media true crime podcast, Queen Havoc and her Murder Cult. On the podcast, she investigated the case of the female Charles Manson, embedding with the serial killer gang and going undercover in a maximum security prison in South Africa.
From living with indigenous tribes in the rainforests of the Amazon to reporting on human rights in France, she has a passion for social impact projects and loves the challenge of creating significant change through storytelling.
